What Fills Your Personal Lamp? Personal Gratitude Challenge-day 2

We have all probably heard of the parable of the ten virgins, with the caution to fill your lamps with oil, which represents our spiritual health and well-being.  But have you ever heard of or stopped to think about filling up a personal lamp for your physical and emotional well-being as well?

I know I haven’t ever stopped to think about it.  Who has time, money, etc. to worry about that…But without our personal lamp being full, we can’t even begin to think about doing all the other things we should do, like filling up our spiritual lamps.

So, the challenge for today is this:

Make a list of things, activities, hobbies, relationships, etc. that refill your personal lamp.  We are going to use this list for later, so keep it around!

One word of caution-I found that some of my hobbies and things I like to do are actually draining, like canning.  It is a good hobby, and I really enjoy it, but it doesn’t refill my lamp.  So, watch out for those fun but draining activities and don’t put those on this list.
